World Teachers Day
World teachers day is celebrated on 5th October every year around the world. In 1994, world teachers day was celebrated first time in the world. This day was established by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation). It is celebrated in more than 100 countries in the world.
Aims and Objectives
The aim of celebrating World Teachers Day is to support teachers and to ensure that the needs of future generations will continue to be met by teachers. On this day, we all celebrates the role of teachers play in providing quality education at all levels. This enables children and adults of all ages to take part in and contribute to their role in local community and global society. World Teachers’ Day remembers the role of teachers and their contributions to society.

World Teachers Day Celebration
United Nations World Teachers’ Day is a global observance but not a public holiday. For celebrating this day many events are arranged globally. These events includes celebrations, conferences, seminars and training workshops from many organizations all around the world.
Many professional organizations and unions play an important role in organizing World Teachers’ Day events in many countries. Every year, Education International (the global union federation which represents education professionals worldwide) launches a campaign for public awareness to highlight the contributions of the teaching profession.
