T20 Global League South Africa Schedule 2017-Teams-Players-Franchise Owners
The T20 Global League South Africa Scheduled a Twenty20 cricket tournament by the Cricket South Africa(CSA) to be held in South Africa.Eight team are going to participate in this T20 Global league; league will start in November and final is scheduled in December 16, 2017.
In an event CEO of Cricket South Africa, Haroon Lorgat said that, the first match of T20 Global League 2017 is scheduled to played on Saturday 4th November and final of the tournament will be played on Saturday 16 December.
T20 Global League Teams:
Eight teams are participating in this Global T20 league 2017 and name of these team are based on eight cities of South Africa. On 19 June 2017, Cricket South Africa(CSA) confirmed the names of the eight venues that will be hosting a team:
- Stellenbosch (Boland Park)
- Durban (Kingsmead)
- Bloemfontein (Mangaung Oval)
- Cape Town (Newlands)
- Pretoria (SuperSport Park)
- Port Elizabeth (St. George’s Park)
- Johannesburg (Wanderers Stadium)
- Benoni (Willowmoore Park)
Marquee Players in Global T20 League 2017:
There are 16 marquee players that have been unveiled so far by Cricket South Africa(CSA) – eight current South African international and eight of the best foreign players in the world.
The Proteas marquee players had been named in April. The players and the teams they will represent are listed below:
- Hashim Amla – Durban (Kingsmead)
- Quinton de Kock – Benoni (Willowmoore Park)
- AB de Villiers – Pretoria (SuperSport Park)
- JP Duminy – Cape Town (Newlands)
- Faf du Plessis – Stellenbosch (Boland Park)
